This was my fourth loan process that I have gone through and I can't say enough how pleasant and easy it was. My loan officer was Mike Jarvis and he checked every box for me with satisfaction. Anytime I wanted an update he replied within minutes, straightforward, and with no delays or excuses. I am in school and work full time so I was hesitant to start a refinance because it can be so hectic. This go around it was so smooth and straight forward. The fees were minimal and the rate was with market rates. It was a please to work with HomeLoans and I honestly would recommend to anyone I know. Also, let me add that I got the cutest closing gift!
During 2020 I made 4 attempts at refinancing. Due to circumstances like furlough, market changes and even issues with my husbands employer not filling out paperwork correctly. We failed to close each time. As frustrating as each of those experiences were we didn’t give up because we could not fail on saving money via our mortgage. After receiving another letter in the mail we came across Ladera ranch. The process was just like the other ones we had with one massive exception. Westin, Shannon and Michael showed us empathy for what we had been through previously listened to our experience and they did everything and more to get this deal done with us. In fact Shannon discovered why at least one of our other deals had fallen through due to a clerical error. They made it a personal mission to ensure that we were able to complete this process successfully. During a time that all of America is suffering financially and the rates being so low...it’s understandable that these banks and its employees stand to make a lot of money. By turning and burning files quickly. I can imagine why our file having had small challenges were overlooked or written off quickly as not being worth their time to afford us a small amount of extra effort. Instead of writing off our challenges they went above and beyond for me and my family. Enabling us to build our saving back up after having had to dip into them so frequently this past year. We will always be grateful to this company and specifically Wes, Shannon and Michael for treating us like family and taking care of us. I could never say thank you enough.

I never give 5 stars, but Mike J***** and his team earned it. Except for the notary (who was also very professional), I only had contact with Mike P****, and Mike J*****. They both worked efficiently and diligently. Both seemed very experienced in their field, and provided a flawless experience. All of my questions, and requests were handled immediately. The entire process unfolded exactly as they told me it would. Like I said before, I never give 5 star ratings because it leaves no room for improvement. In this case however, I wholeheartedly rate their service, and work product (re-financing) as the best I have experienced. Mike and Mike with Hometown Mortgage are among the best in their business, and I would highly recommend them.

Amazing.... Thank you Hometown Loans!!!!! I am an independent contractor and have found it difficult securing loans. My credit is excellent but self employment isn't received well by the loan industry. Mike and his team kept things going and worked with me all the way through a long and difficult process until they finally prevailed and got me an excellent loan. They never gave up on me and really pulled a rabbit out of a hat!
